FAQ

Everything you need to know about our track day events.

What is Serge Track Days?

Serge Track Days hosts high performance driving education (HPDE) track days in a non-competitive environment. We exist because no one in Northern California was providing guaranteed ultra-low car count events with predictable, advanced-level drivers. Our home tracks include Laguna Seca, Sonoma Raceway, and Thunderhill.

What does "ultra-low car count" mean?

Ultra-low car count means approximately 15 cars per run group — the lowest guaranteed car count in the region. This means less traffic, more clean laps, and a safer, more enjoyable experience for everyone on track.

Are events open to everyone?

No. Attendance is by invitation only. We only accept advanced-level drivers who are comfortable in an open-passing environment. This ensures a predictable, high-quality experience for all participants.

How much track time do I get?

You can expect a minimum of 5x 20-minute track sessions at our standard HPDE events. Some events are run in an open-track format where you can expect up to 7 hours of track time.

What cars are allowed?

Modern GT street and race cars are permitted, including Porsche, McLaren, BMW, and other exotic and high-performance cars. No open-wheeled cars are allowed.

How do I register for an event?

All event registration is handled through MotorsportReg.com. Visit our organization page there to see upcoming events and register. Remember, events are invitation-only — please contact us first if you are new.

What about European track experiences?

We also organize European track experiences at some of the world's greatest circuits, including Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, Barcelona-Catalunya, Nürburgring Nordschleife, Red Bull Ring, and more. Contact us for details on upcoming European events.

What are the noise limits?

Noise limits vary by track and event. Laguna Seca events are typically held at 103 dB or 105 dB limits. Other tracks may have different requirements. Check the specific event listing for details.

How do I get invited?
